Newark Valley charged with violating sex offender registry requirement

NEWARK VALLEY, NY (607NewsNow) – A level one sex offender is in jail after allegedly violating the terms of his parole.

On January 28, Joshua Baldock, of Newark Valley, was arrested by Tioga County Sheriff’s deputies.

The 40-year-old is accused of failing to update required internet information with law enforcement or the New York State Sex Offender Registry within a 10-day time frame.

Baldock faces a felony for violating sex offender registry requirements. He was issued an appearance ticket but was held in Tioga County Jail on the parole violation.
