No TCAT or Gadabout for Juneteenth, Ithaca city offices closed

ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) – Juneteenth is impacting some services in Ithaca and the surrounding area.

On June 19th, all Ithaca City offices will be closed to observe the federal holiday.

Offices will reopen with regular hours on Monday, June 22. Additionally, no TCAT or Gadabout buses are running today. All routes will return to normal tomorrow. TCAT offices will reopen on Monday.

In related news, the community is invited to celebrate the holiday at Stewart Park.

The City of Ithaca and the Workforce Diversity Advisory Council are sponsoring free carousel rides all day in honor of the holiday. The splash pad is also opening for the season. The carousel operates from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and the park is open from dawn to dusk.
