CANDOR, NY (607NewsNow) – A Tioga County woman is accused of violating Leandra’s Law.

On February 7, State Police were called to a crash on Candor Hill Road in the Town of Candor, but when they got there, all they found was an unoccupied truck that had collided with trees.

The responding trooper learned that someone passing by gave the driver and her three children a ride to a Dandy Mini Mart. A short time later, Bianca Mann, of Candor, was located at the gas station with her kids, ages 9, 6, and 1.

According to the trooper, the 32-year-old was exhibiting signs of impairment. Mann was arrested after failing a field sobriety test and allegedly had a B.A.C. of .22% when she was transported to the State Police barracks in Owego. The children were turned over to a sober third party.

Mann is charged with three counts of aggravated DWI with a child passenger under 16, which are felonies.
