Ovid crash sends 5 to hospital

OVID, NY (607NewsNow) – Several people are recovering after a crash in Ovid.

On February 11, multiple agencies were called to County Road 131 just before 7 a.m. for a 2-vehicle, head-on collision.

According to the Ovid Fire Department, the accident happened just south of Combs Road. All five occupants in the car and van were transported to Cayuga Medical Center or Geneva General Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office, South Seneca Ambulance, Lodi, and Interlaken Fire assisted at the scene. Trumansburg and Bangs Ambulance provided mutual aid.
