OWEGO, NY (607NewsNow) – Owego Police are trying to identify a suspect in an alleged hit-and-run accident.

On December 15, authorities say someone driving what appears to be a dark colored 2025-2026 BMW 5 Series ran a red light in the village and hit another vehicle, injuring its occupants.

It happened at the intersection of Court and Front Street around 8:40 p.m. The 4-door BMW, which is now missing an LED fog light on the driver’s side, continued northbound on Court Street and then North Avenue. A video of the vehicle is available on the Owego PD’s Facebook page.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Owego Police Department at (607) 687-2233.
