(607NewsNow) — Our pets of the week start with Margo (Top L) and Vera (Top R) from CNY Snap.

Margo is about 8 months old and came to the shelter in August 2025. Since being at the shelter, she has done well with other cats and has become more comfortable around people. She’s still a little shy, but can be pet. Margo has never had a real home, so she needs a patient person that will give her time to become more relaxed.

Vera is a young girl who is a little shy, but has come out of her shell since being in foster care. She likes to cuddle and will follow her foster mom around, waiting to be pet. A friendly and gentle girl, she would do well in a calm, relaxed home.

Next, we have brothers Scar (Bottom L) and Simba (Bottom R) from the Cortland County SPCA. They are both 2 years old and have opposite personalities, but both are friendly and enjoy one-on-one affection from their people. Scar is more reserved and quiet, while Simba is more outgoing and playful. Though not a requirement for their adoption, they would do well being adopted as a pair.
