Spring cleaning: Hazardous household waste collection Saturday in Cortland

CORTLAND, NY (607NewsNow) – You can get rid of household chemicals, oils, and other waste in Cortland.

On April 11, Cortland County, along with the DEC, will collect hazardous household waste this weekend.

The event is free and open to county residents only. No material from commercial entities will be accepted.

It takes place from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday at the Cortland County Recycling Center, located at 137 S. Pendleton Street. No appointment necessary.
