SUNY Cortland hockey teams advance in playoffs

CORTLAND, NY (607NewsNow) — Both SUNY Cortland hockey teams are moving on in the postseason.

On Wednesday, the women’s team topped Potsdam 4-1. Cortland senior Fanny Aneborn scored three goals in the victory.

The ladies will next face Oswego in the SUNYAC semifinals. The puck drops Saturday at 3 p.m. in Oswego.

On the men’s side, Cortland took down Canton 2-0 on Wednesday. The Red Dragons scored both goals in the third period.

The men next head to Hobart for the SUNYAC semifinals. The game begins Saturday at 7 p.m.
