Traffic stop leads to drug charges for Tioga County woman

KIRKWOOD, NY (607NewsNow) – A Tioga County woman faces charges in Broome County.

On April 14, deputies initiated a traffic stop in the Town of Kirkwood.  After an investigation, they say they found drugs in the car.

Rebecca Longo, of Apalachin, is charged with two counts of felony criminal possession of a controlled substance. She is additionally charged with two counts each of misdemeanor criminal use of drug paraphernalia and misdemeanor criminal possession of a controlled substance.

The 63-year-old will appear in court at a later date.
