LANSING, NY (607NewsNow) – Four people are facing charges in the Town of Lansing.

On August 26, members of the Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to a shuttered business in the 100 block of Fenner Road around 3:30 a.m. for a reported trespassing in progress.

When deputies arrived, they say they found a suspicious vehicle parked behind a closed gate on the property, and heard tools being used and other suspicious sounds. Two suspects were allegedly caught actively removing parts from vehicles and gathering other valuables on the property.

Harold Rumpf, 41, of Locke, is charged with criminal trespass, possession of burglar tools, and criminal possession of stolen property, all misdemeanors. He was transported to Tompkins County Jail for arraignment.

Shannon-Ashley Moore, 32, of Lansing, is charged with criminal trespass and possession of burglar tools, both misdemeanors. She was issued an appearance ticket.

Ricky White, 51, of Locke, is charged with felony burglary. He was transported to Tompkins County Jail for arraignment.

Anthony Rejman, 37, of King Ferry, is charged with misdemeanor criminal trespass and misdemeanor possession of burglar tools. He was issued an appearance ticket.

The Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office adds that eligibility for arraignment and who is required to be released are not left to the sheriff’s offices’ discretion.
