Two bodies found in Tioga; investigation underway


TIOGA, NY (CortacaToday) – An investigation into two deaths is underway in Tioga County.

The Tioga County Sheriff’s Office responded to the Town of Tioga after receiving a report of two deceased people in a residence at approximately 9:18 a.m. on Monday, August 26, 2024. Information is limited but authorities say there is no danger to the public.

As of 3:30 Monday afternoon, the Tioga County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigative Division and Road Patrol were still processing the scene. The Tioga County Sheriff’s Office says more information will be shared as it becomes available.
