NICHOLS, NY (607NewsNow) – A motorcycle crash is under investigation in Tioga County.

On August 25, State Police were called to State Route 17 in Nichols around 6 p.m. for a report of a crash involving a motorcycle.

Troopers say a 38-year-old man operating a Harley Davidson veered off the roadway for an unknown reason. The male and his 37-year-old female passenger were both transported to Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre.

The woman remains in critical condition, while the man’s condition has stabilized.

The investigation is ongoing.
