DRYDEN, NY (607NewsNow) — A two-car crash in Dryden created a dangerous situation.

According to Dryden Fire & Ambulance, the collision on North Rd. at Malloryville Rd. Wednesday afternoon “broke a power pole” and brought “high voltage power transmission lines down.”

Six people were reportedly involved in the wreck, which resulted in two people getting taken to a hospital for treatment.

Authorities asked drivers to avoid the area so NYSEG crews could replace the pole and remove the power lines.
