VIRGIL, NY (607NewsNow) — A Cortland County town has a new judge.

On May 14, the Virgil Town Board appointed Lynnsey Ingalls as interim town justice. She’ll serve through the end of 2026 and be up for election this coming November.

Ingalls replaces previous town justice Mack Cook, who resigned earlier this month.
