Mom, You Need to Relax!

Kids want mom and dad to stop looking at their phones and enjoy vacation with them, finds a new study.

The poll of 1,000 kids ages 6-12, found kids are most irritated by parents who insist on making them wear an excessive amount of sunscreen.

10%  think their parents worry about work too much to truly unwind on vacation, and 21% say they are totally embarrassed when their parents take too many photos during the course of a trip.

Other findings: most kids said they’d rather go on an adventure-based vacation rather than stare at a screen the whole time, and nearly a third said that spending time with their parents is the most important thing to do when they are away.

And if kids could do whatever they wanted, 55% said they’d go to a water park followed up a trip to a theme park or a day by the pool.
