Crying to Sad Songs Can Make You Feel Better

Sometimes you just have to cry it out.

A new study published in Scientific Reports finds people who cry to sad music ultimately get feelings of pleasure afterwards, as well as feel less stressed. Researchers say the tears resulting from sadness can actually be “psychophysiologically calming.”
