Just Checkin’ In from Snoogleville

It’s been a crazy week, with travelling to Corning for the holidays, travelling to Connecticut for the holidays, travelling back and racing a snowstorm (meanwhile getting a ticket and trying unsuccessfully to use my preggo belly to passive-aggressively schmooze my way out of it – that’s another story.) … and now filling in for Dave while he’s on a well-deserved vacation …you can’t imagine how much more work it is to pull off a morning show when the other half of your team isn’t there!  Add to that having to race to the bathroom every 15 minutes and having to time that in between songs… well, it always comes down to bathroom breaks with me, doesn’t it?  Hey I can’t help it; my bladder IS more progressively abused these days.  Thanks Baby 🙂

I do want to mention one of the coolest gifts that I got not only this Christmas, but I think in a really really long while in general, is something called the Snoogle.  A body pillow for pregnant chicks, but not just a long straight body pillow…this thing curves up and around you, from head to back to bum to knees,  and comes with instructions on how to twist and contort the thing into various yoga-like positions of pure plush heaven.   Momma like.

I have no idea why these things aren’t marketed to the general public, esp to those with back problems!  Screw pregnancy, everyone should have one of these pillows!  I mean of course, save for the fact that no one would be able to cuddle with their partner in their own bed anymore because they’d have the Great Wall of Snoogles between them.  But oh, the sacrifices we make for comfort…

Thank you Soon-to-Be-Grandma- &-Grampa G  for the most comfortable gift possible!
