Kids Watching TV Can Be Bad for Parents’ Health!

You might worry that too much TV time is bad for your child, but you might not realize it could be bad for you as well.

University of Arizona researchers have found that the more kids watch television, the more likely their parents are to be stressed out, and it all has to do with the amount of advertisements the kids see. Because kids aren’t able to understand they’re being persuaded by the ads, they then throw fits in stores asking for things they saw in commercials, which in turn stresses out their parents.

Basically the more TV a kid watches and the more advertisements they see, the higher the level of conflict between kids and parents goes—leading to very stressed out adults.
